Based in Sydney this is a pivotal role working for a company that is a market leader in the field of installation and maintenance services.
Key Duties and Responsibilities of the position will include;
- Providing pro-active leadership to safety awareness, education and compliance
- Risk assessment and reduction
- Implementation and monitoring of OH&S programs.
- Hazard identification
- Incident investigation support
- Return to work co-ordination
- Internal OH&S and compliance monitoring
- Safety accreditation.
The successful applicant will possess the following attributes;
- Ability to confidently communicate and influence desired outcomes
- Tertiary qualification or significant experience in a related field.
- Greater than 5 years OH&S coordination experience dealing with contractors and technicians.
- Internal auditing experience
- Able to work autonomously
- Knowledge of OH&S legislation and regulations.
